La scocca viene completamente ripulita a mano dal materiale antirombo. Un lavoro lungo e faticoso. La scocca viene infine sabbiata con una sabbia finissima (come borotalco) che richiede un lavoro molto più lungo rispetto all&#39;utilizzo di sabbie più spesse o addirittura pallini di ferro. Così facendo si evita di danneggiare la lamiera portando via materiale e si ottiene un risultato perfetto. Sono pochi i laboratori che fanno questo tipo di lavoro sulla scocca di un&#39;auto.
