L&#39;auto è stata trovata da Alex (alex1@oldamericars.com) su un sito di aste online svedese (<a href="http://www.blocket.de"><font color="#FFFFFF">www.blocket.se</font></a>). Apparteneva ad un appassionato svedese di nome Mats. Dopo una breve trattativa ci siamo accordati sul prezzo e abbiamo stipulato l'affare. La macchina è completa al 99%, piuttosto ben conservata ed originale al 100%. Non presenta ad un primo esame criticità particolari. Non manca nulla (a parte le ruote....de gustibus non disputandum est....). Sarà sottoposta come di consueto ad un totale e completo restauro. Un frame off che la riporterà al suo splendore originale. Ovviamente la rifaremo come era ovvero bianca e non rossa come la si vede in queste prime immagini. Alcune immagini si riferiscono al caricamento della 300 sul camion che la porterà in Italia e che arriverà in una fredda sera di Dicembre come si vede dalle ultimissime foto. Tempo 10 minuti e arrivano Nino, Tato e Raffaele! E scattano le prime foto....e i primi commenti....si sa....i Ribichesu sono monotematici e per loro esistono solo le Cadillac.....ma non possono resistere al fascino della 300..... Come al solito la prima cosa che ci colpisce è il 'profumo' degli interni che dopo 50 anni è ancora lo stesso che sentì il suo primo proprietario. Nulla a che vedere con gli effluvi di resina plastica che si sentono nelle auto di oggi. E' il caratteristico profumo delle auto d'epoca con gli interni in pelle.....La 300 mantiene le promesse. E' come l'avevamo valutata nelle foto. Piuttosto sana e completa. I cromi sono un po spompi ma nella norma. Saranno ovviamente tutti ricromati. La prima cosa da fare è togliere i cerchi che sono destinati al 'Progetto Polara Convertibile&#39; che Raffaele sta portando avanti. Da notare l'entusiasmo nel mio volto! Like we seen in the photos. Quite healthy and complete. It have some chrome degradation but is normal after 50 years. We will rechrome it. The first thing to do is remove the wheels that are intended to &#39;Polara Convertible&#39; Project which is taking forward Raffaele. Note the enthusiasm in my face!
